Dear Patients;

I retired from active clinical practice on April 1st of this year and wanted to extend my sincere gratitude to those of you who it has been my privilege to serve during my 32-year career in Sports Medicine and Orthopedics.  Optimizing your healthcare is always a partnership between you and your provider.  I have endeavored to offer you the best orthopedic care available and sincerely appreciate your trust in me.  You will be missed, as many of you have become as much friends as patients.  I will be assisting my partners in surgery periodically, as well as continue research efforts to improve surgical skills education and to harness simulation to enhance training.

I have been blessed with highly skilled partners at ProOrtho who possess skills, which cover the full range of orthopedic care.  They have been recognized as both leaders and innovators in healthcare. 19 of our physicians and physician assistants have been identified as “Top Docs” by Seattle Met Magazine covering all aspects of musculoskeletal care and surgery including spine, joint replacement, sports medicine, foot and ankle, hand, trauma and pain management.  The fellowship-trained physicians have been pioneers in the development of minimally invasive and advanced surgical techniques. You can expect compassionate care, unsurpassed in quality. I trust the care of my family to my colleagues at ProOrtho – you should too!

Dr. Jessica Ryu is completing her specialty fellowship training in Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Surgery at the end of August, 2018 and will begin practice at ProOrtho in September. She is very talented, has had outstanding training, and will offer excellent care for the same patient needs as I have, and more.

My very best wishes to you for the future and a healthy lifestylE
